If you were in the Heights this summer, chances are you heard about the dog-friendly hangout that had tails wagging and cups clinking — Let’s Walk Houston teamed up with Jo’s Coffee for a morning meetup that was equal parts caffeine, community, and canine joy. The vibes were unmatched, the weather cooperated (mostly), and the turnout was incredible.
Picture this: sunshine spilling across Jo’s Coffee’s outdoor patio, the smell of espresso in the air, and a sea of happy pups greeting each other while their humans sipped cold brew and chatted like old friends. It was casual, warm, and exactly what a Saturday morning in Houston should feel like.
For those who don’t know, Let’s Walk Houston is a woman-owned, bonded, and insured dog-walking company that’s built a strong community of pet parents across the city. Their team is known for going the extra mile — literally — to make sure every pup feels loved, safe, and cared for. Partnering with Jo’s Coffee, the beloved Austin import that recently set up shop in the Heights, was a match made in Houston heaven. Jo’s brought the laid-back charm and strong brews; Let’s Walk brought the wagging tails and good energy.
The event turned out to be one of those effortless community moments — no big gimmicks, just people (and pups) showing up to connect. There were Polaroids snapping, paws on laps, new friendships forming, and a lot of “what kind of dog is that?” conversations.
And because Houston dog owners know a good thing when they see it, we’re thrilled to announce that it’s happening again! And we'll be there!
Mark your calendars:
