Workshops and Plant Parties
Workshops are available to the public and for private reservation. Have a party in mind? Reach out and we’ll help put the details together. These events are perfect for birthdays, friendly outings and team building! DM or email dirtbagswanted@gmail.com for more details. You can also check our homepage to see upcoming public workshops at the Shop. We generally schedule a workshop once a month ranging from guest instructors, local makers, and of course, your in house plant care specialists. If you miss a workshop, reach out and we can book you and your party for a private party, no additional charge.
Plant Parties. Not in the mood to make new friends? We get that. Book private by choosing from one of our Plant Parties below and leave the rest to us. Dirt Bag will coordinate with the Host to provide the space, supplies, expertise and schedule one of our dedicated plant specialists to guide you and your party.

Kokedama, Japanese for ‘moss ball’, is a modern form of bonsai in which a plant’s roots are surrounded in soil and clay, covered in moss and then bond together with string. Kokedama are ‘pot-less’ plants that look beautiful simply sitting on a dish or suspended from a string.
Running out of room for your plants? Turn them into a unique hanging wall piece. Join Dirt Bag Sunday, November 19th at 10am CST to learn the steps in mounting a plant onto a wooden wall-mounted plaque. We will offer a variety of plants to choose from that work well with mounting. Choose from the staghorn fern, heartleaf philodendron, hoya, pothos and more!
