Cat palms prefer in a place with bright, indirect light. Plant in a loose, well-draining potting mix. Water so that the soil stays evenly moist but not soggy. Maintain temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. If placed outside, place in a completely shaded area. Direct sun will scorch the tips of the Cat Palm.
