The 'Crocodile' Fern gets its name from the fact that the fronds (leaves) look like a crocodiles back. It is a very tough fern, doing well in bright, indirect light. It is suited to indoors, patios and almost anywhere, avoiding direct sun. It is a great house plant. Keep evenly moist, but not wet or dry. Do not allow the plant to stand in water. Fertilize in the spring.
