Palm 'Ponytail'
Palm 'Ponytail' stores water in a swollen bulb-like trunk topped with a spray of long, narrow leaves that curl and cascade like hair. Despite the name, it is not a true palm—and that oversized base is the giveaway.
Plant care at a glance.
The swollen trunk stores water, so let the soil dry completely before watering again.
